Basic Rundown

Welcome to our new rewards program designed to maximize returns to you, and provide fun opportunities to share with friends, family and important charities ❤️

• Step 1: Be in Buzz Club (subscribed to newsletter and have (or create) an account)
• Step 2: Place your orders on our site as usual! No codes at checkout necessary, simply ensure that you are signed into your account so that coins are credited to the correct account ✔

Redeem Your Coins!

To view your current Buzz Coins, visit your account page by clicking here. Your coin total will be visible right at the top of the page next to a little yellow hexagonal icon (just above order history), and will be there even if you have a zero coin balance.

Making sure you're signed into your account will ensure coins are added to your balance when orders are paid, as well as make sure items are redeemed to the correct account.

Once you are are sitting on a big ol' pile of coins, what then? Visit our current coin redeem selection by clicking here!

When you add coin redeem items to your cart and go through checkout, we will subtract the coins from your account balance and provide the goods 🎁

Our Goal

We would sometimes see new customers subscribe and then immediately unsubscribe in order to use the discount, which we originally offered as a way to encourage interest in our newsletter and other content 👾

While we always appreciate customers orders, this made it more difficult as a small business to continue to provide the same savings (especially in the case of our customers doing this for large bulk honey purchases 😱)

So, we realized we had to become a little more creative in order to continue to offer the same savings to everyone 🤔

In order to keep things fair and fun to our longtime customers whose loyalty we absolutely realize we cannot take for granted (and should be rewarded at every opportunity!), we put our hive minds together to come up with something just a little bit more interesting 🥳 (and will allow us to continue to provide as much savings as we possibly can to as many customers as we are able to!)

One interesting thing we noticed with our original program was that some customers who were eligible and receiving the newsletter, elected to not use the discount. Whether simply because they wanted to go the extra mile to support local businesses (a massive thank you of course!!), and/or if they simply did not need the discount, we wanted to provide something of value and interest for those people as well, since we profoundly appreciate anyone willing to take the time to be a subscriber and visit our little website in general.

Our greatest hope is that the combination of gift cards and the ability to provide your savings directly to charitable orgnizations will allow each and every Buzz Club member to get something out of our rewards program, and feel how deeply we appreciate your interest in the John Russell Honey Company 🐝

Fairness

Since this is our first time building a fancy rewards program (remember that we promised not to name it honey miles!), so please bee patient with us if it contains some "ers" :) We will of course honour coins you've earned through your very appreciated product purchases, however if we commit some error on our part that results in inaccurate coins being issued, we will redress the coin totals and set your total balance right to reflect fairness to all customers choosing to participate!

Certain items may not be eligible to earn coins when purchased. For example, gift cards do not earn coins when purchased, however when gift cards are redeemed, they are effectively cash currency and the order will earn coins on eligible items as normal.

And of course, in order to keep our savings and promotions as high as possible ✈️, certain promotional discounts may not be eligible for coins (that way we can simultaneously offer fun new discounts for those customers looking for extra ways to save ✔🍯)
