Supporting Manitobans

Supporting Manitobans

Most of us don't know hunger. Not real hunger, anyway. When there isn't enough to feed yourself, when you take the smallest portion so your child can be full, or when you worry about the nutrition you can provide compared to what they need. It's an often hidden stressor on many families and individuals that we cannot see, and thus easily goes overlooked.

Eighty thousand people a month. That's how many Manitobans Winnipeg Harvest helps... every... single... month. This completely blew me away when I came across this information. Every January I do some research on what community organizations or local charities I can support. I have a handful that I donate to privately, and I also like to try to have my "brand" harnessed to do some good as well. This isn't about selling honey, it's about diverting the profits to give back to the community I live in. The need is great, and if this tiny promotion motivates people to do good by donating their food, time, or money to this growing need then all the better.

There are many, many ways that a community can step up and help as well, for example:

So, if you were intending on buying a mixed case for gifts, or just to stock up your cupboard, consider our new Manitoba Community Support Mixed Case and 15.00 total will go to help fight hunger in Manitoba.

Curbside pickup by appointment is available, as well as delivery options to bring your honey directly to your door.

Warm regards,
