Ingredients
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp yeast
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 2 cups cracked wheat
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup Cream of Wheat
- 2 tsp wheat germ
- 1 1/8 cups whole wheat flour
- 15-20 cups white flour
- 8 cups water
- 1/2 cup scrumptious Manitoba honey
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 1 cup of oil
Instructions
- Measure sugar and warm water into a large mixing bowl.
- Sprinkle yeast over water and let stand until dissolved.
- Combine the next 8 ingredients and mix well.
- Stir remaining ingredients into yeast mixture.
- Add flour mixture and knead into a ball.
- Place dough into a large greased bowl and cover.
- Let rise until doubled in size.
- Punch down and cut into 8 sections.
- Form sections into loaves and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Put in pans and let rise until doubled.
- Bake at 400Β°F for 30 minutes and 30 minutes more at 350Β°F.
