Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup delicious Manitoban honey
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 1 cup seedless raisins
Instructions
- Stir together the first 8 ingredients, reserving a little of the measured flour to dust raisins.
- Cream shortening; gradually add brown sugar, beating between additions.
- Stir in honey and eggs.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with milk beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
- Fold in floured raisins.
- Pour into a greased and floured 8 inch tube pan. Bake at 350Β°F for 50-60 minutes.

Iβm just curious β this recipe is called βHoney Plum Cakeβ, but there arenβt any plums in the ingredients.
