- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup pure Manitoban honey
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
- powdered sugar
- Cream shortening of choice with honey.
- Add flour and salt to the creamed mixture, followed by vanilla and nuts.
- Shape into balls and flatten slightly. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Roll in powdered sugar while hot and again when cooled.
