Buckwheat is a strong tasting, dark honey that will dominate in flavour wherever it is used. A favourite in Slavic and Eastern European cultures, this very unique honey has been found to have the highest level of antioxidants save for New Zealand's manuka honey, and is a much loved staple in Polish, Ukrainian, Jewish, and other culinary traditions.

Often referenced for its long standing use in remedies, this is Canada's answer to manuka honey 🍁 While we cannot ourselves make any health claims, there does appear to be some interesting research around this fascinating type of honey which you can learn more about in our blog article here
