Each night thousands of people in our city sit down to plates of simple nourishment that has been provided to them free of charge from an organization that has been giving people a way forward for decades: Harvest Manitoba. Once known as Winnipeg Harvest, they have expanded their mission and every day do critical work to keep this province together.

It may not necessarily be gourmet or visually exciting, but we're talking about basic sustenance to keep human bodies going through difficult circumstances.
