Skeps were used for keeping bees during the Middle Ages, and are still utilized by time period enthusiasts and hobbyists as they are easy to make by hand and cost nothing.

A couple of inches tall, and made of pure beeswax these have a burn time of over 3 hours and provide that wonderful natural scent when beeswax is in the room
